Standing near the edge of the glorious Martinez Canyon, set in 36 acres of tall shady Ponderosa pine trees and beautifully landscaped flower gardens. The house overlooks the ancient magical Indian site of “Chimney Rock” to the south and “Pagosa Peak” to the north.

The house is furnished with all the grace and elegance of England. Six suites with private bathroom and deck, Owner/Manager apartment, all have unsurpassed views of the Magnificent San Juan Mountains and the Valley of Pagosa.

In the comfortable sitting room, there are natural stone arches and a large stone fireplace where guests can enjoy open log fires whilst relaxing alone with a book or conversing with friends. Complimentary wine is served each evening to our guests.

Large wrap around decks where guests experience the splendors of Colorado wild life that inhabit the grounds and be exited by the unimaginable sunsets and feel part of the amazing display that the night sky performs each evening.

This romantic retreat can also offer peace and seclusion for prayer and meditation, or special occasions, such as memorable weddings for up to 300 people, where our fine dining chef can prepare candle light dinners, tableside service, buffet style or BBQ meals.
