El Señorío de Moncalvillo holds a 16th century palace belonging to the noble Alesón family, who lived in this house since at least 1580. Lineage of important seamen, politicians and gentlemen from different religious and military orders. It is typical of La Rioja, and especially in vineyards areas, to find this type of construction. The splendor of the facade reflects a local ancestry family with important ramifications on this land, being the Villa de Sotés its most distinguished lineage.

The building consists of different heights, 3 on the main facade - built in stone - and 5 in the rear - built in old brick. Both interior windows and doors have preserved their original hardware and wood. The original wood and clay flooring have also been restored.

The layout remains the same as in the seventeenth century, being restored for your comfort:

- The Cellar
Typical Rioja winery, where you can relax and chat by the fire. It has a kitchen, dining room and bathroom for your comfort.

- The Entrance Hall
Typical in the area with its stone flooring "a uña de perro", it draw flowers reflecting artisans work in detail.

- Room Floors: El Lumbrero, La Capilla, La Almazara, La Secretaría, La Pagaduría, El Escribiente.

- The Noble Zone
The Noble Zone is the area where the family that owns the Mansion lives. So, it has higher ceilings and quality materials, and rooms are spacious and bright. Originally the walls were decorated using handmade paintings, but they have not been restored this time.

- The Attic
In the attic you can enjoy comfortable rooms with separate bathroom. Ideal for families with children.
