Hike, Explore, Relax! Pet and Family friendly! Full kitchen, cable-TV, DVD, computer, video games, ping pong, and dart board. Enjoy babbling brooks and streams, trails, ponds, dark night skies, hiking, log-made playgrounds, and swings for the kids. Plenty of room to sleep 6 adults and , of course, pets are always welcome. The ambitious will give it a go on community 2-mile Nature Trail or even the Appalachian Trail just up the mountain. Make the short drive up to the top of Big Bald for one of the most magnificent views on the east coast. Bring your marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers for smores! Located just 22 miles past Asheville,N.C.; Enjoy being nestled into the forest in a rustic (while not exactly roughing it) mountain cabin.
